• How do I back up or transfer my data? Go to Profile → Local Archive & Data Ownership → Export All Data to export your entire history as structured JSON or readable Markdown files.
• How do I restore my MadMan Growth Plus subscription? Open Profile or Settings → MadMan Growth Plus and tap Restore Purchases. Apple StoreKit will verify your active subscription without requiring any login.
• How do I cancel my subscription? Subscriptions are managed directly by Apple. Go to your iPhone’s Settings → [Your Apple Account] → Subscriptions → MadMan Growth Plus to cancel or change your plan at any time.
• How do I delete all data? Go to Profile → Delete All Data. This immediately purges all experiments, reflections, direction tags, settings, and cached assets from this device.

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 26, 2026

ClearPass Technologies, LLC (“we”, “us”) designed MadMan Growth with a strict privacy-first and local-first architecture. This policy explains what information is processed and how your autonomy is protected.

1. Zero Remote Storage of Your Personal Notes

All hypothesis statements, ritual sequences, reflections, observations, prompt answers, direction labels, and optional photo attachments remain stored locally on your personal iPhone using sandboxed storage. We do not operate remote databases, user accounts, or cloud-sync servers for your notes.

2. Zero Third-Party Advertising and Zero User Tracking

• We do not track you across apps or websites.
• We do not collect Apple’s Advertising Identifier (IDFA).
• We do not sell, rent, or disclose your personal data to data brokers or advertising networks.

3. Anonymous Telemetry (Strict Opt-In Only)

Product telemetry is disabled by default upon installation. If and only if you explicitly toggle on Anonymous Telemetry in Settings, the app may record coarse feature interaction counters (such as number of experiments started) to evaluate usability. This telemetry payload mathematically excludes all text content, note strings, hypotheses, photos, timestamps, and personal identifiers.

4. In-App Purchases (StoreKit)

Purchases of MadMan Growth Plus are processed securely by Apple through StoreKit. We do not receive, store, or process your credit card, billing address, or payment details. Apple shares only cryptographically signed receipt tokens used solely to validate feature entitlements on your device.

5. Device Permissions

• Face ID / Biometrics: Used strictly on-device to lock and unlock the app when you enable App Lock. Biometric data is never accessible to the app and never leaves the Secure Enclave.
• Notifications: Used strictly to schedule quiet, on-device local reminders when enabled. No remote push notification server is connected.
• Photo Library: Requested just-in-time only if you manually select an image to attach to a local reflection.

6. Data Portability and Erasure

You have full ownership of your data at all times. You can export a full copy of your data or erase all records with a single tap in the app’s Profile tab.

Terms of Service

By downloading or using MadMan Growth, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.

1. Informational & Self-Directed Use Only (Non-Clinical Boundary)

MadMan Growth is an editorial, self-directed tool for adult personal reflection and habit testing. MadMan Growth does not provide clinical therapy, medical advice, psychiatric diagnosis, crisis counseling, or mental health treatment. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency or crisis, please contact local professional emergency services or crisis hotlines immediately.

2. Local Data Responsibility

Because the app does not store your notes in the cloud, you are responsible for maintaining device backups or exporting your records if you plan to reset or replace your iPhone.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

MadMan Growth Plus is available as an auto-renewable subscription ($3.99/month or $29.99/year). Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon purchase confirmation. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle. You may manage or cancel subscriptions anytime in your Apple App Store Account Settings.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States.
